Vin'nyla lives a life of perpetual nomadism.

When asked about their home, their response is always the same: "Oh, all over. I travel a lot." Their journey through the cosmos is not measured in miles or years, but in the countless dimensions and eras s/he traverses.

One day a stranger strikes up a conversation with them.

Vin'nyla begins to weave their story, their voice filled with a mix of fascination and affection. S/He  enjoys talking about their adventures in distant galaxies, the wonders of the multiverse, and the mysteries s/he's unraveled.

The stranger raises an eyebrow. "Sounds intriguing. You must have seen incredible things together."

Vin'nyla's eyes light up with enthusiasm. "Oh, absolutely. I've visited places beyond imagination and encountered beings of unfathomable wisdom. It's a thrilling existence."

As their conversation flows, Vin'nyla's communicator beeps softly, indicating an incoming transmission. S/He glances at the message and sighs. The stranger hesitates, then shakes their head. "I gotta go."

Vin'nyla smiles warmly. "Well, come over some other time. I might just be here."

Before leaving, the stranger pauses and says, "Oh, one more thing." Their voice carrying an eerie gravitas, as though imparting ancient wisdom:

"The first hurdle for the true explorer: 'To those who seek the unknown, I wish for challenges, discoveries, and revelations. I wish that they should not remain unfamiliar with profound curiosity...the thirst for knowledge, and the joy of the uncharted. I have no pity for them... because I wish them the only thing that can prove today... whether one is truly alive or not.'"

With those words, the stranger leaves them.
