Their cyst is a tumorous infection caused by a virus.

From their blood test last night and early this morning, the cyst still appears to be growing rapidly.

S/He is sleeping.

"What can I say to convince you? I don't know how else to explain it."

"It's really not about convincing me. This is something that I- well, we... simply cannot do. It's purely a business reality."

S/He watches them through a window.

"Is s/he still sleeping?"

"They have them under a mild sedative."

"Just a few days ago s/he was fine."

"I need some advice. With everything that's happening here, I'm a little at sea."

When the rocklike cyst was sliced in half, a perfectly circular, porcelain-like section was found inside it. In the center of that section was a tiny pin that responded to a magnet. An X-ray clearly showed the metal pin, with a spring or helix at one end. The other half of the object showed a skin like material covering the porcelain-like cylinder. They thought one of the specimens was like a geode, a kind of a rock with a cavity that’s lined with often-colorful minerals. It has taken at least 500,000 years for this nodule to attain its present form — and yet, when they cut it open, they found an alien-made object.

This discovery demands certain understanding of alien philosophy.

The Interstellarcene has been defined as the present extraterrestrial epoch in which ecosystems and biodiversity are being slowly developed by alien intervention. It is the osmotic transition from chaos to an equilibrium, which has no normative or ontological meaning. It is the change from a rhythm of conscious elaboration to a new rhythm. A change in the speed of consciousness, the establishment of a new mental processing. It is the reactivation of the imagination, a statement that opens the streams to the most diverse rhythms and the most diverse frames of interpretation.

"Sorry, I got carried away."
