They disguise themselves as Tardigrades so as not to be noticed by the kidnappers.
They proceed to the Welcome Habitat where the hostages are locked in.
A sign on the wall says:
"This Welcome Habitat extends a special welcome to those who are from Kepler*, Gliese*, Trappist*, or Tau Ceti f.
We welcome starving artists, tree-huggers, junkies and vegetarians.
We offer a welcome to those who think the earth is flat, don’t work, or can’t communicate.
We welcome those who got lost and wound up here by mistake. We welcome visitors, tourists, seekers and doubters."
S/He pretends to be an art dealer from Gliese 436b - a planet defying the laws of physics.
S/He offers the previously purchased crypto-mathematical painting for sale.
"Wait a minute! But we'll have to get their attention."
On a hilltop with two moons behind them Vin'nyla sings while s/he performs an exotic dance.
"What's that? ...Is she naked?"
Later outside in the streets a battle ensues.
"I instruct you to surrender at once."
"Would you mind handing over your weapons?"
Vin'nyla fells a guard with a nerve pinch.
"Well done, my friend."
They find the fragrance seller in critical condition.
Their life signs are fading.
"Vin'nyla! ...Vin'nyla! It's me. After all these years you've finally caught up with me."
After their immediate recovery the fragrance seller of Bhopal performs an energy-specific decomposition ritual, a semi-improvised audiovisual experience in which they explore their own identities through eco-fetish mythologies and embark on a fictional pop idol boot camp with near-apocalyptic consequences.
All other hostages have already and irreversible shapeshifted into Lithops as an act of resistance.

The rescue team quickly collect them in their selfelevating containers.
"All my knowledge and I can't save them."
"You've done all you can. "
"The support system will keep them alive."
"How can I watch them suffer like this?"
(Vin'nyla turns off the life-support)
